CHIMNEY SWEEPING
To produce consistent results, I combine the integrity of the 19th century sweep with the technology of specialized sweeping equipment – “The August West System.” It takes about an hour to thoroughly clean and inspect a chimney and there is no mess and little inconvenience. I clean fireplaces, wood and coal stoves, and oil furnace chimneys, and the standard price in State College is $149. Inspection is $99, Pellet Stove Cleaning is $239, and Spin Cleaning a creosote lined chimney is $299. In addition to cleaning and inspecting chimneys, I also install protective chimney caps, patch crowns, and seal flashing.
GUTTER CLEANING
Don’t risk your life! I have years of roof work experience. I can clean your gutters and make sure your downspouts are clear – prices start at $99 and up for the whole house. I also clean leaves, debris, and stains from roofs. Skylight cleaning is available too.
DRYER VENT CLEANING
You can save up to $297 a year with a clean dryer vent! Dryer lint slows down the air flow from your dryer – increasing the time it takes to dry your clothes. Don’t waste money; a yearly cleaning is only $109 plus tax, and not only will you save money, but you’ll also help protect your home from a dryer fire. Danger – do not dry any items stained with gasoline, cooking oil, or cleaning agents, as they could catch fire. Wash them twice and line dry.
